Il faut + verb in infinitive
Il faut que + subject + verb in subjunctive
Il faut faire les devoirs pour demain.
(It's necessary to do the homework for tomorrow.)
Il faut que tu fasses les devoirs pour demain.
(It's necessary that you do the homework for tomorrow.)
Il faut appeler Marie pour son anniversaire.
(It's necessary to call Mary for her birthday.)
Il faut que nous appelions Marie pour son anniversaire.
(It's necessary that we call Mary for her birthday.)
